Pics from the October 29th Obama Rally in Raleigh North Carolina

I waited patiently in line along with 25,000 other folks that day to see Presidential candidate Barack Obama.  We were all searched by TSA agents before entering the rally area.  Once inside the gated rally area, I got within about 150 - 200 feet of him & took these pics with a Nikon D50 with a 300 mm Sigma lens.  This rally was the last one in North Carolina before the Presidential elections, a mere 7 days before the elections.

"Vision of Hope" oil painting of Barack Obama

The latest Barack Obama entitled, "Vision of Hope" is a closeup of Obama's face as seen at the 2008 Presidential campaign in Raleigh, North Carolina in November 2008.  I stood in line for 4 hours to get into the rally area.  It was well worth it, as the vibe was electric!

"Obama, Believe" Oil Painting generates Campaign Donations

Prints of the original oil painting, "Obama, Believe", were sold on Ebay leading up to the 2008 US Presidential elections.  50% of funds raised were donated to Presidential-Elect Barack Obama's campaign.  Thank you to all who donated and purchased the prints, as you made this effort a success!  For prints, click here
